Early Sidereal Times on PDF

Those of you who attended to CAA Relaunch meeting on August 30, 2009 were amused to learn about the early history of the Sidereal Times.
I started it in November 1986 using an old letterpress printing press with lead monotype that used to take HOURS to set per page. The Sidereal Times Logo was drawn by hand and the inside front covers were printed on an early computer (it would later take over all printing duties). Note things like the occasional upside down letter, the different printing densities and the various other issues that existed back before DTP.
The magazine was distributed to members of the “Astrologers Circle of Cape Town”, a group I formed at a lecture of Durban astrologer Yvonne Dyason’s that about 35 people attended. The group was not quite like the CAA - more like an early social network! It existed to keep interested people in touch with each other and encouraged them to form their own groups. From the evidence in the magazine, members became very active doing just that in their own suburbs (many WEEKLY meetings were held!)
You can download Edition 2 by clicking here. (Edition 1 seems to have evaporated - now rarer than ever!!). Please feel free to comment, especially if you were part of the astrological scene back then...
